About us
The company was founded in 1993 at the initiative of local farmers Gediminas Janulaitis, Juozas Pukelis, Zigmas Lietuvininkas and Jonas Valaitis.
The company specializes in potato seed production, grows cereals, oilseed rape and corn, and cultivates 1000 hectares of land. In 2003, the company has initiated the establishment of Bulvių Namai cooperative undertaking in Trakai Region. 25 employees work in the company.
UAB Šaka is a laureate and prize-winner of a number of exhibitions and a representative of the German company Europlant in Lithuania.
